Mrs Cora Davis Rice Dies September 6th
  
Cora Davis Rice, 75, wife of Green Rice, Oil Springs died Thursday,
Sept. 6, 1945 at her home after a long illness.
  
Besides her husband, she is survived by nine children, Alva, Charlie,
and Johnnie all of Oil Springs, Frank, Evansville, Ind., Grant,
Harriman, Tenn., Roy, Dayton, o., Mrs. Erie Wheeler, oil Springs,
Mrs. Lily Wheeler, and Mrs. Rule Caudill, Wheelersburg, Ky.
  
Funeral services were held at the home on Saturday morning by Rev.
Guy W. Preston.
  
Burial was made in the Price Cemetery at Oil Springs under the
direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
