Thomas Martin Ratliff Sr., 79, of Paintsville, died Thursday, Sept.
13, 2007 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville.
Born July 29, 1928, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Add
Ratliff, Anna Lee Borders Ratliff and Okie Mae Ratliff.
He was a self-employed concrete contractor and a WW II U.S. Army
veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel E. Blair Ratliff of Paintsville; two
sons, Thomas Martin Ratliff Jr., of Staffordsville and Charles Michael
Ratliff of Paintsville; two daughters, Pansey Ann Brown of Camden,
Ohio and Sandra Lee Ratliff Watkins Hensley of Paintsville; six
brothers, Raymond Ratliff, Steve Ratliff and David Ratliff, all of
Paintsville, Clyde Ratliff of Lawrence County, and Charlie Ratliff of
Brighton, Mich.; three sisters, Virginia Rizzo of Paintsville, Linda
Reddy of Bowling Green, and Margaret Blanton of Flat Gap; five
grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 17, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with Larry Blair officiating.
Burial was in Ratliff Family Cemetery, Paintsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
