WINFIELD SCOTT PRICE
  
Winfield S. "Winnie" Price, 66, died at his home at Oil
Springs on Wednesday morning, Sept. 5, (1945).  He had
been in ill health for sometime.
  
Besides his wife, Mrs. Manda Rice Price, he is survived
by three daughters, Mrs. Garnett Ross, Wheelersburg,
Ohio, Mrs. Bennett Hardin, New Carlisle, Ohio, and Mrs.
Woodrow Greenwade, Prestonsburg, also two sons, S 1-c
W.S. Price, Jr. and Mitchell Price of Wheelersburg, Ohio.
One daughter, Beatrice, preceded him in death 13 years
ago.
  
He is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Nora Harrell,
Washington, D. C., Mrs. Emma Rice and Mrs. Julia Rice,
Riceville, Mrs. Rinda Preston, city, and 17
grandchildren.
  
He was a member of the United Baptist Church.
  
Funeral services will be held at the home at Oil Springs
on Friday at 2:00 p.m. by the brothers of his church.
  
Interment will be made in his family cemetery by the
Jones Funeral Home.
