Rites Friday For Mrs. Warren Preston

Mrs. Warren H. Preston, 70, native of Johnson County, died at her home
at 51 Bridgeford Tuesday after suffering a stroke a few days earlier.

She had been in ill health for the past seven or eight years.

Mrs. Preston had lived in Paintsville for the past 51 years except for
a short time when she moved with her husband to Pikeville.

They returned to Paintsville three months ago.

She was born November 27, 1877, the daughter of George and Charity
Reynolds of the Toms Creek section.

She had been a member of the Methodist Church for several years.

On November 7, 1897, she was married to Mr. Preston who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters and one son, Mrs. Dock P. Smelley,
city, and Mrs. J. A. Hager, Prestonsburg, and Russell P. Preston,
Ashland.

Funeral services will be held at the residence on Friday afternoon by
Rev. C. D. Harah.

Interment will be made in the Preston Cemetery, city.
