DENNIS PENNINGTON
1912-1992
  
Retired miner, Dennis Pennington, 79, died Thursday, January
30 in Highland Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Pennington was born October 23, 1912 in Morgan County,
the son of Clabe and Stella Adams Pennington.
  
Surviving are three sons, John Pennington of Marengo, Ohio,
Willie Pennington of Green Camp, Ohio and Willard Pennington
of Laurelville, Ohio; four daughters, Linda Clark of Blaine,
Willa Terry of Morral, Ohio, Carol White of South Point,
Ohio and Doris Frasher of Webbville; one brother, Jimmy
Pennington of Oregon; two sisters, Ethel Chaffin of Louisa
and Sylvia Gilliam of Rio Grande, Ohio; and 22 grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday, February 2 in Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Paul Cox and Ronald
Childers officiating.
  
Burial was in Patty Flat Cemetery at Flat Gap.
