Ora Parsons, 81, of Meally, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born April 24, 1926, in Johnson County, he was a son of
the late Coger and Mary Wicker Parsons. He was a grader
operator with Adams Construction, a U.S. Army veteran,
and a member of Meally Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Neva Baldridge Parsons of
Meally; two daughters, Patricia Johnson of Williamsport
and Teresa Butcher of Meally; two sisters, Catherine
Delong of Charleston, S.C. and Imogene Himes of Huber
Heights, Ohio; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at
Meally Church of Christ with Mark McKenzie officiating.
Burial will be in Old Friendship Memorial Gardens,
Williamsport, under direction of Preston Funeral Home,
Paintsville.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, July 11, from 9 a.m.
- 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday,
July 12, at the church.
