Herma Lee Pack, 84, of River, died Thursday, Sept. 7, at Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
  
Born May 19, 1922, at Lowmansville, she was a daughter of the late
Herbert and Virgie Grim Castle. She was a member of George's Creek
United Baptist Church.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hershell Pack, in
1986.
  
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Pack-Rowe of Cincinnati, Ohio; a
brother, Carmel Castle of Elizabethtown; a sister, Mary Ruth Tackett
of Paintsville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Sunday, Sept. 10, at George's Creek United
Baptist Church with Carlos Preston and Paul Castle officiating.
  
Burial was in the church cemetery, Lowmansville, under direction of
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
