CLINT OSBORNE 1898-1961 Clint Osborne, 63, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rosa Lee Roache, Dayton, Ohio, at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, October 14, after an illness of two and one-half months. The son of Mrs. Lou Osborne of Sitka and the late Mack Osborne, he was born in this county February 12, 1898, and had lived at Dayton for the past seventeen years. He was a disabled miner. His wife, Georgia Ruth Stambaugh Osborne, preceded him in death March 1934. Surviving besides his daughter are a son, Alva Osborne, Jr., Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Harold and Albert Osborne both of Sitka; seven sisters, Pearlie Ramey, Ashland; Mandie Salyer, Ironton, Ohio; Virgie McCarty, Aid, Ohio; Edna Witten, Springfield, Ohio; Olga Salyer, Lucasville, Ohio; Evlena Womack, Springfield, O.; Oletha Thompson, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, at the Sitka Church of God with Bruce Daniel as officiating minister. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery at Volga.
