ALICE MURPHY
1907-1976
   
Mrs. Alice Sadler Murphy, 69, died Sunday, November 21,
1976, in St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington.
  
Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of Tom and Stella Castle
Sadler.
  
She was born August 12, 1907, at Nippa where she had been
a lifetime resident.
  
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Her husband, Lloyd Murphy, preceded her in death on Marhc
21, 1968.
  
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Conley of Nippa; a
brother, Clarence Sadler of Wittensville; two sisters,
Mrs. Alka Davis of Springfield, Ohio and Mrs. Anna Lee
Ramey of Nippa; one grandchild and two great
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, November 24,
1976, in the Mouth of Rush Freewill Baptist Church at
Nippa with Reverends James Relly Caudill, M.T. Womack,
Jr. and Bill Meadows officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Nippa with
Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements.
