Robert Meade,
81 Passes Monday
  
Robert Meade, 81, died at 6:30 Monday morning, Feb. 21, at the home
of his granddaughter, Mrs. Eddrel Miller, at West Van Lear.  He had
been ill about one year.
  
Mr. Meade was born in Johnson County on Feb. 21, 1868, the son of
Levi and Nancy Castle Meade.
  
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Nora Blevins of Van Lear also 19
grand children and 21 great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held at 10:30 Wednesday at the Church of
Christ at West Van Lear by Rev. S. C. Honeycutt.
  
Burial was made in the Van Lear Cemetery by the Jones Funeral Home.
