CARRIE MCKENZIE

Carrie Blanton McKenzie, 84, died Sunday, April 12 in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. McKenzie was born October 27, 1902 in Johnson County, the
daughter of Bill and Judy McFarland Blanton. She was a member of
the United Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Harry “Hack” McKenzie; four sons,
Willis “NIG” McKenzie and Eudell McKenzie, both of Staffordsville,
Victor McKenzie, of Zanesville, Ohio, and James L. McKenzie, of
Paintsville; five daughters, Beulah Trimble, of Staffordsville,
Peggy Cantrell, of Paintsville, Phyllis Merriett and Edna Ruth
Branham, both of Battlecreek, MI, and Ann Lewis, of Columbus,
Ohio; one sister, Beulah Lemaster; and 40 grandchildren, 42 great-
grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14 at Fishtrap United
Baptist Church at Staffordsville with Elders Lonza Reed, J. T.
Bailey and Jerry Colvin officiating.

Burial was in Blanton Branch Cemetery at Manila with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
