FREDA LYONS

Freda Lyons, 77, of Sitka, died Saturday in Highlands Regional
Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
  
Mrs. Lyons was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Johnson Co., a daughter of
the late Leonard and Fannie Roberts Sowards.
  
Surviving are her husband, Con Lyons; two sons, Wayne Lyons of
Paintsville and Con Edward Lyons of Keaton; a brother, Charles
Sowards of Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-
grandchildren.
  
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. today at Preston Funeral Home in
Paintsville by Denvil Mollette and Steve Rose. Burial was in the
Skaggs Cemetery at Keaton.
