HANSFORD CLARK LEMASTER 1874-1958 H. Clark Lemaster, 84, retired teacher and merchant, died, Sunday morning at the Castle Fork Rest Home after a long illness. He was one of the county's best known citizens, and was a member of a large and prominent family. Mr. Lemaster was born April 18, 1874, a son of Elijah Green and Susie Burke Lemaster of this county. He had been a resident of Lowmansville since 1925, and was a member of the United Baptist Church. His wife, Dora Lemaster, died in 1936. Surviving are three sons, Vaughan Lemaster, Joliet, Ill., H.S. Lemaster, Cincinnati, Ohio, James W. Lemaster, Seattle, Wash., and three sisters Sallie Cantrell, Ashland, KY., Isabelle Estep, Fuget, KY., and Phoebe Williams, Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning December 4, at the Lowmansville United Baptist Church by Rev. Lonza Reed. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
