ESTILL HITCHCOCK
1912-2001
Funeral services was held yesterday, Tuesday, for Estill
Hitchcock, 89, who died June 12, at Paul B. Hall Regional
Medical Center.
Mr. Hitchcock was born February 29, 1912, in Johnson
County to the late George W. and Mary Elizabeth Blanton
Hitchcock.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Grace Dunlap
Hitchcock.
Surviving his death are two daughters, Linda Mahan of
Barnetts Breek; and Madge Blair of Waverly, Ohio; one
son, Cecil Hitchcock of Staffordsville; also surviving
are six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four
great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel. Officiating the service were elders, Eulas
Adams, Phillip Caudill and Rev. John Mike Blanton.
Burial followed at the Family Cemetery at Oil Springs.
