WILLIAM FLOYD HANEY

William Floyd Haney, 62, died unexpectedly of a heart condition at
his home on Wood Street at 1:30 a. m., April 19.

The son of Thomas and Emma Turner Haney, he was born in Magoffin
County March 1, 1888. He was well known and liked in this city where
he had lived for the past forty years, and his death came as a shock
to his many friends here. He engaged in general work around town and
for many years had been employed as a janitor at the Mayo Memorial
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Alice Spradlin Haney, and six
children; three daughters, Miss Anna Mae Haney and Mrs. Nellie Fay
Johnson both of this city, Mrs. Josephine Spriggs, Boons Camp; three
sons, Chester Lee, Estill, Elmer Lewis, all of this city. Surviving
also are the following brothers, John Boyd, this city, and Fred,
Riley, Dorcie, and Leroy all of McGuffeey, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p. m., Friday, April 21,
at the Mayo Memorial Church with the pastor, Rev. J. T. Harmon
officiating.

Burial will be in the Town Cemetery under the direction of the Jones
Funeral Home.
