City Woman Dies Sunday
Alice Haney, 66, wife of Bill Haney, of 444 Peach Street, died early
Sunday morning after an illness of several months from heart trouble.
Mrs. Haney, a former resident of Magoffin Co., was the daughter of
Sol and Adeline Whitt Reed, and had been a resident of Paintsville
for more than twenty years.
She is survived by her husband, several sons and daughters and her
aged mother who makes her home with them.
Funeral services were held at the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon
with Rev. Scott Castle in charge after which burial was made in the
town cemetery under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
