Mrs. Leona Hampton, 63, died August 19 1982 in her Paintsville home.
  
Born December 30, 1918, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of
Lucy Dale.
  
Surviving are her husband, Willie Hampton; two brothers, Paul
VanHoose, Paintsville, and Bill Dale, Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Edna
Joyner, Ocoee, Fla.; and a nephew, Hobie Dean Witten, Sitka.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 22, in Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Castle officiating.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery in Paintsville.
