Mrs. John Hall Dies Wednesday

Mrs. Mary Alice Hall, 76, wife of John D. Hall of Van Lear, died at
her home Wednesday morning following an illness of six months.

Born February 13, 1880 in Morgan County she was the daughter of the
late Raleigh and Ellen Bollen Adkins. She had been a resident of Van
Lear for sixteen years.

Surviving besides the husband are four sons; Bob Hall, Peru,
Indiana, Bill Hall, Columbus, Ohio, Dick Hall, Van Lear and Cecil
Hall, Van Lear; one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Honaker, Columbus, Ohio,
and one brother, James Henry Adkins of this city.

Funeral services were held Friday Morning at the home at Van Lear
with the Rev. S.C. Honeycutt officiating.

Burial was made in the Van Lear Club House Cemetery under the
direction of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home.
