JASON HALL World War I Vet. Jason Hall, 76, Dies April 29 World War I Veteran Jason Hall, 76, died Monday. April 29 1968, in the Lexington Veterans Hospital, after an extended illness. A farmer, he was born in Johnson County on November 19 1891, the son of the late Calloway and Sarah Hensley Hall. Survivors include three sisters, Mra. Alice Green of Chandlersville; Mrs. Emma Lemaster of Sitka; and Mrs. Malta Davis of Paintsville. Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, May 1, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home, with Lonza Reed and O.I. Williams officiating. Burial was held in the Salyers Cemetery at Flat Gap under the direction of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home. PAINTSVILLE HERALD MAY 1 1968 |
