Isom Hall, 89, Dies Saturday
Services Held Monday For Retired Farmer
Isom Hall, 89, a well-known resident of this city, died in a local
hospital Saturday night.
Born March 12, 1867, in Letcher County, he was the son of Preston and
Elizabeth Franklin Hall.
A retired farmer, he had been a resident of this city for 38 years.
Mr. Hall was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen Adams Hall, two sons, K. L. Hall of Mt.
Sterling, Ky., and Bill Hall of this city, and three daughters, Mrs.
Bradley George of Ashland, Mrs. J. C. Maggard of this city and Mrs.
Herschell Fields of DeLand, Fla.
Other survivors are one brother, Martin B. Hall of Coal Grove, Ohio,
21 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday from the Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Zavadsky officiating.
Burial was made in the Wells-Buckingham Cemetery under the direction
of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
