EMMA GRIM 1874-1956 Aged Resident of Johnson County Dies In Lexington Emma Lemaster Grim, 82, died of pneumonia Friday, in a Lexington hospital after a brief illness. Although a patient in the hospital for some time, she had been seriously ill only two weeks prior to her death. The daughter of William and Sally Crum Lemaster of Inez, Ky., she was born June 14, 1874, and was a resident of Wittensville, Ky., and the widow of the late Sam Grim, to whom she was united in marriage in December of 1934. A member of the United Baptist Church, it was said that to know Mrs. Grim was to know the sincerity and earnestness of her Christian profession, Knowing well the teachings of her Lord, she tried diligently always to fulfill them. Having earned at last the reward for the faithful of rest and peace, she surely has heard the words of commendation. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joys of they Lord". Four step- children, Farris Grim, Mrs. Sarah Grim and Mrs. Fanny Williams, all of Stambaugh, Ky.,,survive in addition to two nephews, J. L. Preston, Wittensville, Ky., and Dr. T. R. Preston, Lowmansville. Services were held at the Locust Grove United Baptist Church of which Mrs. Grim was a member, with the Rev. F. F. Rigsby officiating. Burial was made in the Preston Cemetery at Lowmansville under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Wednesday 12-5-1956
