 EMMA GRIM
1874-1956

Aged Resident of Johnson County
Dies In Lexington

Emma Lemaster Grim, 82, died of pneumonia Friday, in a Lexington hospital
after a brief illness. Although a patient in the hospital for some time,
she had been seriously ill only two weeks prior to her death.

The daughter of William and Sally Crum Lemaster of Inez, Ky., she was
born June 14, 1874, and was a resident of Wittensville, Ky., and the
widow of the late Sam Grim, to whom she was united in marriage in
December of 1934.

A member of the United Baptist Church, it was said that to know Mrs. Grim
was to know the sincerity and earnestness of her Christian profession,
Knowing well the teachings of her Lord, she tried diligently always to
fulfill them.

Having earned at last the reward for the faithful of rest and peace, she
surely has heard the words of commendation. "Well done, thou good and
faithful servant. Enter thou into the joys of they Lord". Four step-
children, Farris Grim, Mrs. Sarah Grim and Mrs. Fanny Williams, all of
Stambaugh, Ky.,,survive in addition to two nephews, J. L. Preston,
Wittensville, Ky., and Dr. T. R. Preston, Lowmansville.

Services were held at the Locust Grove United Baptist Church of which
Mrs. Grim was a member, with the Rev. F. F. Rigsby officiating.

Burial was made in the Preston Cemetery at Lowmansville under the
direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
