FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD
JULY 8 FOR ROY GRESHAM
Retired mechanic Roy Edward Gresham, 62, died Friday, July
4, of a heart attack. Mr. Gresham had been ill for several
years.
Born in Beulah, Missouri on September 3, 1906, he was the
son of the late Edward E. and Rose Case Gresham.
He was a resident of Paintsville at the time of his death,
and had lived at Lowmansville for 30 years. He was
affiliated with the Missionary Baptist Church.
His wife, the former Ollie Preston, whom he married in
January of 1927 in Suppula, OK., preceded him in death on
February 25, 1969.
Surviving is one son, Dr. John D. Gresham of Seminole, OK.
Funeral services were conducted on tuesday, July 8 in the
chapel of the Preston Funeral Home with the Rev. James
Wallace officiating.
Interment followed in the Preston Cemetery at Lowmansville
under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
