DANIEL GAMBILL
1910-1993
     
Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for
Daniel Gambill, 83, who died Wednesday, November 3, at
Paul B.Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Gambill was born August 6 1910, in Johnson County,
the son of the late James Martin and
Rosa Daniel Gambill.
  
He was a retired teacher and member of the
Concord United Baptist Church.
  
He was preceded in death by his wife,
Anna Lee Gambill, in 1991.
  
Surviving are one son, James Gambill of Thelma; three
daughters, Ella Daniel and Danna Hamilton, both of
Thelma, and Madge Williams of Carmel Valley, California;
and four grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 6 at
Concord United Baptist Church, with Ernie Daniel
and Charles Nolan officiating.
  
Burial was in Dan Gambill Cemetery at Thelma.
