JAMES H. FYFFE 1867-1950 KEATON FARMER, 82 ILL 4 MONTHS, DIES James H. Fyffe, 82, retired farmer of Keaton, died at his home at 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, following an illness of four months. The son of Henry and Ann Fyffe, he was a lifelong resident of the Keaton community where he was born May 2, 1867. He was a member of the United Baptist Church. His wife, Susan Ferguson Fyffe, preceded him in death in February 1945. Surviving are the following children: Seven daughters, Mrs. Margaret Lyons, and Mrs. Plura Bailey of Barn Rock, Mrs. Lydia Wright and Mrs. Bessie Walters both of Keaton; Mrs. Goldie Kelley, Beattyville, Mrs. Lexie Ferguson, Crockett; Mrs. Beulah Hill, Relief; two sons, Noah, Portsmouth, Ohio and Shelby, Wheelersburg, Ky. Surviving also are two brothers, Steve Lawrence County, and Cecil, Louisa. Funeral services were conducted at the residence of Rev. J. T. Bailey at 1:00 p.m., Thursday December 29.
