EVELYN FYFFE 1911-1972 Evelyn Fyffe, 61, of Keaton died Friday, November 10 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Dockie and Stella Ison. Immediate survivors include her husband, Joe Lee Fyffe, and one son, William Kenneth Fyffe of Independence, two daughters, Velma Dixon of Lewisburg, Ohio and Hazel Keaton of Keaton, five sisters, Hazel Ferguson of Staffordsville, Pheoba Ferguson of Moon, Cracie Skaggs of Moon, Fannie Mae Patton of New Boston, Ohio, and Lou Ethel Brown of Circleville, Ohio, and two half sisters, Susanna Keaton of Columbus, Ohio and Gladys Burton of Blaine. Funeral services were conducted by Hager Kelly on Tuesday, November 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the Christian Union Enterprise Baptist Church at Keaton. Burial followed in the Fyffe Cemetery at Keaton under direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home. PAINTSVILLE HERALD THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15, 1972
