Okie Marie Fraley, 85, of West Van Lear, died Tuesday Mar.06 2001,
in Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville.

Mrs. Fraley was born Dec. 24, 1915, in Johnson County, a daughter
of the late Frank and Mahala Preston Daniels.

Her husband, Tom Fraley, died in 1961.

Surviving are three sons, Thomas Fraley of East Point, Ronald
Fraley of Van Lear and William R. Fraley of West Van Lear; two
daughters, Ruth Butcher and Alpharetta Sue Francis, both of Van
Lear; three brothers, Jess Daniels of Cliff and Norton Daniels and
Shirley Daniels, both of Thelma; four sisters, Maybeth Fraley of
Oceana, W.Va., and Ethel Penix, Peggy Keeler and Bonnie Skeets,
all of Silver Creek, N.Y.; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-
grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Phelps & Son Funeral Home
in Hager Hill by Manford Fannin.

Burial will be in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Williamsport.

Funeral services will be held today, Friday, Mar. 09, 2001 for Okie
Marie (Daniels) Fraley, 85, who died Tuesday, Mar. 6, 2001, at Paul
B. Hall Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Fraley was born Dec. 24, 1915, in Johnson County to the late
Frank (Sept. 17, 1972) and Mahala Preston Daniels (May 13, 1977).

She was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Jefferson
Fraley, on Jan.12,1961 and her son Marshall Ray Fraley on Feb.11,
2001 and 5 brothers Harold, Dec.27, 1960, Frank Jr. Apr. 25, 1980,
Lowell Douglas, Mar. 17, 1984, Albert, Jul. 03, 1993, and General Ham
(G.H.), Sept. 09, 1997, and a sister Beatrice Daniels Oct. 28, 1996.

Surviving are 3 sons, Thomas P. Fraley of East Point, KY , Ronald L.
Fraley of Van Lear, KY and William R. Fraley of West Van Lear, KY;
and 2 daughters Ruth E. Butcher and Alpharetta S. Francis both of Van
Lear, KY; 3 brothers Norton and Shirley Daniels both of Thelma, KY;
and Jess Daniels of Cliff, KY; 4 sisters, Ethel Penix, Peggy Keeler
and Bonnie Skeets, all of Silver Creek, New York, and Maybeth Fraley
of Oceana, West Virginia; 25 grandchildren and 21 great
grandchildren.

Services at 1:00 P.M. at the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.

Officialing will be by Calvin Sester and Manford Fannin, Special
singers were Mike & Teresa Blanton and Steppin Out on Faith.

Burial will follow in the Friendship Memorial Gardens also named
Pack-Preston Cem. at Williamsport, KY
