Dorcas Tussey Fannin, 75, of Prestonsburg, died Sunday, March 10,
2002 at Riverview Health Care Center.
Born March 1, 1927, in Dock, a daughter of the late Fred and Julia
Haywood Tussey, she was a former cook with the Floyd County Board of
Education at Clark Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. Fannin Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jo Layne of Indiana and
Deborah (Debbie) Fannin of Oviedo, Fla.; a son, Ernest Fannin Jr. of
Prestonsburg; two sisters, Lena Mae Hall and Angie Justice, both of
Prestonsburg; a brother, Donald Tussey of Prestonsburg; four
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Dan Heintzelman and
Randolph Crisp today, Wednesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Carter
Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville.
Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
