LILLIAN FAIRCHILD Mrs. Lillian Blair Fairchild, 34, wife of Howard Fairchild of Rock House, Died at her home Saturday morning (Jul.17 1954), following an illness of seven weeks. Born August 15, 1919 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of Reece and Susie Webb Blair who survive. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving besides her parents are two sons, Phillip Roger and Daniel Lee Fairchild, and one daughter Patsy Carol Fairchild, all at home. Also surviving are three brothers, Dexter Blair who is with the Air Force, Glen Blair, Dayton, Ohio, and Richard Blair, Collista; four sisters, Carnett Blair of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Neva Fandt, Layona, NY, Mrs. Anne Louise Shery of Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, and Pansy Blair, Fairborn, Ohio. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Rock Baptist Church with Claud Preston and Willard Wilcox as officiating ministers. Music was made by the Paintsville Quartet.
