DEATH TAKES LUCY DUNCAN
Was Widow of Capt. John Duncan
Mrs. Lucy Duncan, 79 years old, wife of the late Captain John M.
Duncan, died very suddenly at the home of Mrs. Malta Williams of
West Van Lear, on Friday morning at 2 A. M.
Mrs. Duncan, who resided at Richardson Ky., was on one of her annual
visits to the Williams home, it being her former home during the
lifetime of her husband.
Surviving are one son, Scott P. Duncan, Osborne, Ohio and one
daughter Mrs. Alma Coulson, West Van Lear. One sister Mrs. Mary
Hibbard of Richardson and several grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral Services were held at the home of Mrs. Malta Williams on
Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the family cemetery nearby,
under the directions of the Jones Funeral Home.
