ROY DANIELS
1908-1965

Roy Daniels, 57, died at 11:15 a.m., June 15, as a result of
suffering multiple injuries when the vehicle he was driving
overturned and went down an embankment on the Fishtrap Road.

Born April 6, 1908, he was the son of the late Willie L. and
Elizabeth Brooks Daniels, and had been a resident of Sitka several
years. He was an affiliate of the United Baptist Church and a
member of the Chandlerville, F & AM Lodge 858.

Mr. Daniels is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cynthia McKenzie
Daniels, one son Paul Daniels, Sitka, and one daughter Mrs. Betty
Clarice Lemaster of Sitka.

Other survivors include one brother, Ray Daniels, Lowmansville;
six sisters, Mrs. Alka Grim, Thealka; Mrs. Iuka Adams, Kingston,
Ohio; Mrs. Lucy Castle, Lowmansville; Mrs. Edith Walter,
Paintsville; Mrs. Ruby King and Mrs. Dorothy Crane, Columbus,
Ohio.

Funeral services were held June 17, in the Paintsville United
Baptist Church, with the Revs. F.F. Rigsby, J.T. Bailey and Flem
Arrowood officiating.

Burial was in the McKenzie Cemetery at Lowmansville. Masonic
graveside rites were held.
