LAFE DANIELS 1964 C&O Conductor Dies Monday Lafe Daniels, of Ashland, a conductor with the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway and father of Jay Daniels of this city, died Monday. He had been admitted to the C&O Hospital Monday morning. Survivors besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Jack Rece of Titusville, Fla.; five sons, Charles M. Daniels, county attorney of Greenup County; Sam Daniels, Russell; Lafe Daniels, Jr., Ashland; Palmer Daniels of Louisana and Jay Daniels of this county. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY MAY 27, 1964
