GENOA L DANIEL
1876-1951
Mrs. Genoa L. Daniel, 75, wife of M.L. Daniel, of Tutor Key, died
in a local hospital Monday, March 19, at 5:30 p.m., following an
illness of five weeks.
Born in Morgan County March 8, 1876, the daughter of thelate
Wallace and Katherine Rowland LeMaster, she had lived at Tutor Key
for sixty years. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints and was a well-known and beloved resident of her
community.
She was preceded in death by one daughter and one son.
Survivors include besides her husband, seven children; three
daughters, Mrs. Dan Short, Van Lear; Mrs. Frances Phelps, Martin;
Mrs. John Ward, Hampton, Va.; four sons, George W., Sitka; Roy,
Charles Callis and Rowland Daniel all of Tutur Key.
She leaves one sister, Mrs. Lillie Helton, Hampton, Va., and one
brother T.A. LeMaster, Phoebus, VA.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. today at the home by
Elder J. Benson Lewis and Elder Don Ellison.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Tutur Key under the direction
of the Jones Funeral Home.
