TURTLE DOVE CONLEY
1872-1964
    
Turtle Dove Lemaster Conley, 92, died October 14, at her
home at Riceville, following an illness of three weeks.
  
Born in Magoffin County, February 29, 1872, she was the
daughter of Eli and Lida Tackett Lemaster. A resident of
Riceville most of her life, she was a member of the
Pentecostal Church.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ballard Conley,
in 1950.
  
Survivors include four sons, Paris Conley, Riceville; Tom
Conley, Riceville; Harrison Conley, Ashland; Frank
Conley, Ashland; five daughters, Mrs. Ed Sparks,
Riceville; Mrs. Tommie Lemaster, Windham, Ohio; Mrs.
Moody Bayes, Catlettsburg, Mrs. Lace Patrick,
Salyersville; Mrs. Eddie Montgomery, Portsmouth, Ohio;
one sister, Mrs. Virgie Lemaster, Cincinnati, Ohio.
  
Funeral services were held at the Riceville Freewill
Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Stapleton, the Rev.
Harold Salyer and the Rev. Scott Castle officiating.
  
Music was provided by the Rockhouse Quartet.
  
Burial was in the Price Cemetery.
