HELEN BUTCHER
1928-2001

Helen Irene Butcher, 72, of Williamsport, died Tuesday
Jan.02 2001 in Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville.

Mrs. Butcher was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Johnson County, a
daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Hall Branham.

She was a cook at Carl D. Perkins Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Carol Butcher.

Surviving are her husband, Eddie Butcher; three sons,
Charles Eddie Butcher of Williamsport, Darrell Butcher of
Oil Springs and Leonard Butcher of Salyersville;
four daughters, Mary Jo Christian, Lorene Johnson and
Betty Buskirk, all of Williamsport and Virginia Frasure of
Freeburn; a brother, Lester Branham of Van Lear;
a sister, Willodean Brooks of Columbus, Ohio;
16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in Paintsville by Ellis Hamilton,
David A. Meek and Hub Billiter.

Burial will be in Butcher family cemetery in Williamsport.
