ATLEY BUTCHER
Dies August-20

Atley Butcher, 68, died August 20 1964 in the Veterans
Hospital to Huntinpon. West Virginia following an illness
of three years.

He was born at Williamsport July 20 1896, a son of John W.
and Julia Davis Butcher.

A retired miner, he was a member of the United Baptist Church

Survivors Include three brothers, Hershell Butcher,
Williamsport; Glen Butcher, Paintsville; Billie Butcher,
Mamisburg, Ohio; two sisters, Grace Marcum,
Williamsport; Maxie Shelley, Chattanooga, Tenn.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Old Friendship
United Baptist Church with the
Rev. Nim Sturgill and the Rev. Ivan Butcher officiating.

Burial was in the Butcher cemetery at Williamsport.
