ARNOLD BUTCHER
1900-1975
Tuesday June 3, Arnold Butcher passed away at the age of 75. He died
in Miami, Fl, after an extensive illness.
Born Oct. 03, 1900, he was the son of the late Ballard and Lura Debord
Butcher.
He was a retired miner.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta Price Butcher, two sons, George
Butcher of Columbus, OH and Arnold Roger Butcher of Miami, FL; three
daughters, Mrs. Lennie Williams of SC; Mrs. Bonnie Maynard of
Columbus, OH, and Mrs. Vennitta Pease of Miami, FL; a brother, Earl
Butcher of Boons Camp, three sisters, Elva Mollette, Edna Preston,
and Mary Preston, all of Boons Camp; and seven grandchildren.
Friday, June 6, the funeral took place at the Little Friendship
United Baptist Church at Boons Camp.
Ministers were Nim Sturgill, Ivan Butcher and Everett Crum. Burial
was at the Butcher family cemetery at Boons Camp under the direction
of Preston Funeral Home.
