EARL D. BURCHETT
1904-1970
Earl D. Burchett Funeral services were held in the Patty Flat
Cemetery for Earl D. Burchett, 66 who died August 26 in his home at
Elna two days earlier.
Elders Lonza Reed and Arnold Reed presided at the services, while
the Paintsville Funeral Home took care of the burial.
The former oil pumper had been ill for one year prior to his death.
He was born in Flat Gap to the late James and Rose Castle Burchett.
Survivors include four brothers, Ray Burchett of Elna, Darell
Burchett from Win, Lowell Burchett of Pikesville and Ora Burchett
from Fuget, as well as three sisters, Mrs. Eula Hayes of Shelby,
Ohio. Mrs. Edna Wallen from Winchester, and Mrs. Virginia Hall of
Columbus Ohio.
