ROBERT PAUL BLANTON
1930-1965
Robert Paul Blanton, 34, of Volga, died August 12, at 9:20 a.m., in
the University Hospital, Lexington, with an illness of several
months.
Born December 30, 1930, he was the son of Haskell and Luda Jones
Blanton.
He served as bus driver for Flat Gap School.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Skeens Blanton, two sons, Gary
Lee13, and Lonald Randall, 5; four brothers Tommy Blanton of Fklat
Gap, Jack and Kendrick Blanton of Volga; and Bill Blanton of Dayton,
Ohio; two sisters, Roberta Blanton and Linda of Volga.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 14, 10:00 a.m. at home,
with Revs, Ellis Hamilton and Harold Salyer officiating.
Burial was held in the family cemetery with the Paintsville Funeral
Home in charge.
