Lena Blanton,  62 of Johnson County, died January 1 1997, at Logan
Acres Nursing Home.
  
She was born January 9, 1934 in Johnson County to the daughter of
Jimmy Spradlin and Alka Dale.
  
She is preceded in death by both parents, Jimmy Spradlin and Alka
Dale.
  
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Mabry of Bellefontaine, Ohio;
one brother, Manford Spradlin of Paintsville; one sister, Bertha
Childers of Paintsville;  4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
  
Services were Saturday,  January 4, at 10 am. at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Jerry Castle officiating.
  
Burial was in the Family Cemetery in Paintsville.
