AUDREY BLANTON

Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
for Audrey Blanton, 91, of Paintsville, who died Friday,
October 13, 2000 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center in
Paintsville.
  
Mrs. Blanton was born February 17, 1909, at Dema, to the
late Proctor Slone and Roenia Cox. She was a homemaker.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lasco Blanton.
  
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Williams,
of Paintsville, Maxine Blanton, of Warsaw, Indiana, and
Geraldine Hensley, of Oil Springs; four sons,
Clyde Blanton, of Piketon, Ohio, Clarence Blanton,
of Evansville, Indiana, Robert Blanton, of Lancaster,
Ohio, and Harold Ray Blanton, of Concord, California;
20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and
9 great-great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held October 16 at the Highland
Church of Christ with Jerry Scott officiating.
  
Burial followed in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery
located at Stafforsville.
