Lacey Blair, 54, farmer of Barnetts Creek, died at his home
at 2:15 a.m., Sunday following an illness of several months.
  
The son of Green and Marinda Lemaster Blair, he was born
August 13, 1904, and had been a lifelong resident of the
Barnetts Creek Community.
  
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Baldwin Blair; four
sons, Basil and James Francis Blair, both of Lucasville,
Ohio; Tilman Blair, Jeffersonville, Indiana; Norman Blair,
Barnetts Creek; three daughters, Viola, Naomi and Mayola
Blair, all of Barnetts Creek, one brother, Barnetts Creek,
one sister, Mrs. Erie Gavis, Portsmouth, Ohio.
  
Funeral services were conducted from the home at 11:00 a.m.,
Tuesday with Prater Blair, Ferman Blair, Millard Bryant and
Lonza Reed all officiating ministers.
  
Burial was in the H. M. Rice Cemetery at Barnetts Creek.
