JETTIE BLAIR
1908-2003
Funeral services were held Monday, August 25, 2003 11 a.m. at the
Burke Funeral Home in Prestonsburg, Ky., for Jettie Blair, 95, who
passed away Saturday, August 23 at her residence.
Mrs. Blair was born March 18, 1908 in Blaine, Ky., daughter of the
late Richard and Sara Jane (Caudill) Thompson.
She was a member of the Brandy Keg Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her husband, Verlie (Buck)
Blair.
Surviving are five sons, Robert D. Blair, Fredrick Blair, John R.
Blair, Bill Blair, all of Prestonsburg, Ky., and James E. Blair of
Columbia, Tenn.; one daughter, Mabelene Blackburn of Willard,
Ohio; one sister, Hattie Bowe of Columbus, Ohio; 26 grandchildren,
several great and great-great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Bro. Roger Music, Bro. Bobby Neile
Osborne and the Rev. Birkey Lewis, with burial following in the
Blair Cemetery at Paintsville, Ky.

Prestonsburg, Ky.
