DOROTHY BLAIR
1912-2008
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. at the Beechwall
United Baptist Church for Dorothy Blair, 96, of Denver, Ky., who
passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21 at her residence.
Mrs. Blair was born April 20, 1912, daughter of the late Albert and
Flora Ratliff Blair.
She was a retired seamstress.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Burlin Blair; two
daughters, Lillian Lowe and Geraldine Baldwin; and two grandsons,
Jamie Lowe and Doug Baldwin.
Surviving are two sons, Dalmas and Robert Blair, both of Denver, Ky.;
one daughter, Dottie Spradlin of Denver; one brother, Raymond Blair
of Denver; and 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-
great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Elders Jerry Colvin, James R. Blair,
and James D. Spradlin, with burial in the Blair Cemetery at Denver.
Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
