COLUMBIA BLAIR 1878-1963 Mrs. Columbia Blair, 85, resident of Sitka, better know as “Aunt Lumie” died in a local hospital, Wednesday, February 13, after an illness of three days. A daughter of the late James E. and Elizabeth Barton Webb, she was born in this county, February 7, 1878. She had lived at Sitka for the past three years and prior to that time had been a resident of Lick Fork. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. Her husband, Frank H. Blair, preceded her in death in 1952. Survivors include a son, E. J. Blair, Ashland, and a daughter, Mollie Webb, Sitka. Also surviving is a grandson, James Franklin Blair. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 pm, Saturday in the chapel of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home with S. C. Honeycutt and Adrian Davis as officiating ministers. Music was by the Sitka Singers. Burial was in the family Cemetery at Lick Fork. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 20, 1963
