BURLIN BLAIR

Burlin Blair, 85, of Denver, died December 9, 1997, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
  
He was born March 5, 1912, in Johnson County, the son of Liss Blair
and Lucy Baldwin.  He was a coal miner.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents.
  
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Blair of Denver; two sons, Robert
Lowell Blair of Elyria, Ohio; and Dalmas Carroll Blair of Denver; two
daughters, Lillian Lowe and Dottie Spradlin, both of Denver; one
brother, Dennis Blair of Waverly, Ohio; two sisters, Arlene Castle
and Fannie May, both of Paintsville; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-
grandchildren.
  
Services were December 13, at the Beechwall United Baptist Church
with Elders James R. Blair, Gene May, Jerry Colvin and James D.
Spradlin officiating, and Paintsville Funeral Home caring for the
arrangements.
  
Burial was in the Blair Cemetery in Denver.
