DOROTHY BELLAR


Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Dorothy
Bellar, 75, who died Monday, April 24, 2000 at St. Joseph
Hospital, Lexington.

Mrs. Bellar was born February 17, 1925, in Johnson County, to
the late Fonzo and Lula Blair Salyer. She was a retired
merchant from Jenny's Children Shop.She was also preceded in
death by her husband, Earl Bellar, on May 2, 1992.

Surviving are three sons, Leon Bellar of Oil Springs, Kenny
Allen Bellar of Staffordsville and Ronald Dean Bellar of
Sunbury, Ohio; and six grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 27, at Barnett's
Creek United Baptist Church, with John R. Pelphrey and Jack
Salyer officiating.

Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at
Staffordsville, Johnson Co Ky.
