CYNTHIA AUXIER

Member of Family Of Twelve
Cynthia Davis Auxier, 79, died at her home on Davis Branch Road,
about twelve o’clock, Sunday night, April 5, 1947.
She had been ill for several months, but had shown improvement, and
her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Auxier was the daughter of the late James M. and Naomi Price
Davis of this county, and was one of twelve children. She was the
widow of Warren D. Auxier who died in January 1942.
A resident of the Davis Branch vicinity all he life, she was well
known throughout the county, and she leaves many friends and
relatives.
Surviving are three sons, J. J. Auxier, Warren D. and Warden Auxier.
Four sisters also survive.
Funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday, April 9, 1947,
at 2. p.m. by Rev. S. C. Honeycutt
Burial was in the family cemetery.
