CONNIE LYNN ALLEN

Funeral services were held Friday, December 31, 11 a.m. at the First
Baptist Church for Connie Lynn Allen, 53, of Paintsville, Ky., who
passed away Tuesday, December 28 at her residence.
  
Mrs. Allen was born August 31, 1951 in Paintsville, Ky., daughter of
the late Marion and Barbara Daniel Brown. She was a cosmetologist; a
member of the Paintsville Eastern Star Lodge, Daughters of the
American Revolution, and Johnson County Republican Women; and
Johnson County Commissioner for District 1.
  
Surviving are her husband, Ken Allen of Paintsville, Ky.; one
daughter, Nikki Lynn Allen of Paintsville, Ky.; one son, Derek Allen
of Prestonsburg, Ky.
  
The service was officiated by the Revs. Hubert Slone and Greg Rice,
with burial in the Wells Cemetery at Paintsville, Ky.
   
Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
