DOROTHY ADAMS
1910-1997
  
Dorothy Crace Adams, 87, of Paintsville, died Monday,
November 10, 1997, at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.
  
She was born January 10, 1910, Johnson County, the daughter
of Winfield Spradlin and Mary Jane Selvage.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first
husband, Crossford Crace, and her second husband, Dewey
Adams.
  
She is survived by Leroy Crace of Hager Hill; four
daughters, Beatrice Barker of Van Lear; Mary Carroll of
Columbus, Ohio; Diane Cannon of Ironton, Ohio; and Lynn
Allen of Columbus, Ohio, two sisters, Daisy Shields of
Lexington, Indiana; and Josephine Horne of Paintsville; 24
grandchildren and 39 great- grandchildren.
  
Services were November 12 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Eddie Young officiating.
  
Burial was the Rice Family Cemetery at Barnetts Creek.
