John E. Ward, 68, of Williamsport, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at
his residence.
  
He was a son of the late Fred and Mable Walters Ward. He was a
production worker with Ford Motor Company and a U.S. Navy veteran.
  
Survivors include his wife, Mary Mollett Ward of Williamsport; a
daughter, Mary Margaret Ward-Petrovich of Michigan; two brothers,
Thomas Ward of Virginia and James Ward of Michigan; four sisters,
Frieda Shepherd of Pennsylvania, Betty Schindler and Nancy
Christian, both of Ohio, and Virginia Brabban of West Virginia;
seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
  
Graveside funeral services were Monday, Oct. 15, at Mollett
Cemetery, Boons Camp, with Eugene Wells officiating and under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
